MELIOR PROJECT

Promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Zaragoza, MELIOR is a European project whose aim is to develop an on- line orientation system for the selection and evaluation of training providers, based on quality indicators developed in the framework of Leonardo Da Vinci – Transfer of Innovation programmes..

WHO IS IT AIMED AT?

MELIOR will be a comprehensive system for the analysis of the quality of training designed for helping the SMEs in the process of selection of their training providers. Also contractors, trainers, trainees, guidance professionals can benefit from this innovative tool, that follows the guidelines given by the common Quality Assurance Framework of the European Union.

HOW DOES IT HELP?

The Melior system is developed to guide SMEs in the selection between their different training providers, following the following steps:

  • Study of training needs.
  • Viability of a training plan.
  • Design of the training project.
  • Selection of methodologies.
  • Content design and definition of the most suitable suppliers’ profile.
  • Monitoring of the quality of the training and the participants’ satisfaction.
  • Obtaining quality indicators to improve employability.

The programme will provide a detailed report about the training provider’s profile which best matches the training necessities the SME has selected, its experience, structure and other indicators. Therefore, the company will be able to assess the different options depending on the criterian the expert system has provided.

WHO IS DEVELOPPING THE MELIOR TOOL?

The research and development of the Melior Tool is being carried out by a group of seven experts in Long Life Learning and training in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Zaragoza (Spain), made up of:
